High Resolution Visual Spectroscope

Works in any scope that uses 2” eyepieces. Also works in standalone mode with Barlow removed, see spectra of terrestrial light sources too!
Comes with instructions and observing project ideas. Uses 1.25” eyepieces from about 7mm to 25mm focal length (not included).

Custom circuit to pulse the reticle at any frequency, adjustable from DC to several seconds between blinks with a separate knob. Adjustment is independent of brightness adjust. Fixed 50:50 duty cycle. Installed at the factory, but also available as part of the Upgrade package if you want to return your old unit.

Dew Heater integrated into the lens holder with 12V USB-C connection. Very slick, no fussing with hook-and-loop contraptions. Draws about 2.5 Watts, delivers gentle radiative heat across lens and combiner to keep your optics dry.

Specify flat or curved. If curved please provide diameter or circumference of tube. Bases are made to order. Includes nylon thumbscrews. Flat base can be mounted with #6 countersink screws, not included. Curved base can also be mounted with screws or long zip ties, not included.

Mount your QuInsight on an existing Telrad base. QuInsight base attaches to AdapTR with 8-32 UNC countersink screws, included. It is recommended that you buy the AdapTR with a QuInsight base, I will attach them. Also recommended that the QuInsight base is at the end of the AdapTR, not the middle, but you can choose.

Broke your original combiner glass? Don’t worry, it happens sometimes. Order a replacement (or a spare for the future) for $25. Instructions for replacement will be provided.
